Our Annual Ladies' Chicken Harvest is really a time for us to step back in time and experience what our grandmothers and great grandmothers used to do to get dinner on the table.  They would be wearing dresses and aprons (so as not to get their nice dresses dirty), and they would be working on the farm; collecting eggs, harvesting veggies, and yes, even butchering a chicken for dinner!  Talk about "farm-to-table"!  Ladies' Chicken Harvest is such a great way to realize where our food comes from with a hands-on experience that will last a lifetime.
